? About Pima Trails Association

Protecting and preserving Pima county trails since 1987

Our all-volunteer group has been defending Tucson trails since 1987 when equestrians found they were being shut out of trails they'd used for years.

By joining together with hikers and cyclists, they all started working with homeowners, agencies and developers. Some of the victories to preserve public access include:

  • Pima Canyon
  • Ventana Canyon
  • Agua Caliente South
  • Fantasy Island
  • Campbell Cliffs

How you can help:

  1. Join Pima Trails...your voice will count!
  2. Notify us if you see trails in danger of development or closed off
  3. Volunteer to help with our newsletter, table-sitting at events and with outreach activities.
